Yesterday we planned to went ice skating and I'm meeting try, han yuen, jie tao and nixon. Try and I reached kallang first so we decided to check out the prices first. But unfortunately, the ice skating rink was closed down for some renovation. oh my gosh! Waste my time travelling there. Called up the rest and told them the bad news so we decided to go makan sultra at marina square to have out dinner and went for movie. We went to watch "Marley and me", and it was really touching. I teared at the end of the part. But the worst thing came, the movie end at 12am!!! How am I suppossed to go home? I stay so far from marina square can?! Well, they guys walked with us to the bus stop and then I stayed there waiting for my bus. But suddenly there just so much fear when I saw some weird guys at the bus stop. Thanks God in front of me there's a cab. Well, we really didn't expect the movie to end so late. Kind of scared to stay out till late and that shall not happen again!

Oh well, today I went to the childcare to help out organizing the materials and I've been wrapping the books since morning till late. Is not easy wrapping books ok? :P Oh my gosh. The teachers are funny, so i guess that's a good thing? haha. Try and I got a lot of nicknames from one of the teachers, and it really amuse us. haha. I hope the first day of work will be good. I going to recieve lots and lots of favors from Daddy God from the children and teacher. Wisdom shall be with me too. Haha

Anyway, is really bad when you lost focus when you are serving Him. It all turn out to be doing it for the sake of doing, and all the responsibility you have to faced, all the pressure that's coming. Is really hard to serve when we lost focus on God. You just feel so away from everything, and a rest is ideal, the best thing that you ever need. I've been asking myself abt my revealation for serving, and it turn out I'm not having this when I serving- "To bless others because I have been blessed so much". All the pressures are just driving me away from God. But thanks God, He always pull me back in time. Thanks God for the friends around me, reminding me of Him and giving me wise advices to get back on the right track. Thank you Janey and Yiwei for reminding me that I'm not alone. And not forgeting my wicked twin too, who is always there to lend a listening ear. :)

Thanks God that He always speak to me through my friends. Thanks God for His uncondition love, the greatest gift that no one else can give me. God does not count whether you have done a good job, but the number of times that you get up and finish the race with Him, that makes you the victor!

I pray that God you will bless my friends, whoever is going through a tough time and was so lost like me. Daddy you shall just lead them back. Heal those broken hearts out there. And I pray in Jesus name, Amen.

Today is like a long day to me. Seriously there's like nth to do at home so I was looking at photos and suddenly my junior, Jia Yi msg me that they will be having their SYF rehearsal tmw at RP at 5pm and she asked to go down if I want. Oh man, then suddenly alot of seconday school memories came back and I really felt that time flies..

I guess the most memorable part of my seconday school days life was my CCA-Chinese Orchestra. My main instruments is guzheng, althought i played other instrunments like pipa, gao sheng before for SYF because of the lack of manpower. Haha. I remember last time I always focus on my guzheng and my life is everything abt it. I remember when I first join guzheng, I was really bad at it because I don't have one guzheng at home for me to practice. So I think I told my mum that I really wanted a guzheng and she bought it for me in June 2004! I was overjoyed at that moment and I work hard for my guzheng.

Our practices hour are quite long in a way, but whenever you are playing, time just flies so fast! Let me show you some pictures!

This was taken when we went to watch a concert. Our instructor was there too. She's Yin lao shi! I love her alot!

This is me during practices. I remember that time I was practicing for a mini performance for charity. See our messy guzheng room with all the bags around. Haha.

Our first cultural night performance at kallang threatre. We are performing to welcome the VIPs. But I had the worst nightmare of my life. Having to put super thick make up as I have stage performance with 3 of my other friends: Grace, Huiwen and Janice.

And here they are: Janice, Huiwen, Me, and Grace. This was the performance for the charity. I still remember I was having a high fever of 38.9 degree C that day. And I had to move the instruments here and there, the worst thing is stay under the long sun. I nearly fainted when I went down from the stage.

I manage to find my Sec 1 SYF photo. I was the third one at the front row from the left. I was so happy that we get a Gold for this SYF. I cried all the way back from conference hall to school.

This was taken when I'm in sec 4. The seniors are in uniforms and the juniors in their SYF costumes. I prefer the new ones. But it cost a bomb!

All these photos are really precious and it just feel like yesterday to me. I really miss the days I had when I was in secondary school. I guess the only thing that make me look forward to school was the CCA. Haha. And I miss my instructor Yin lao shi! She's the first teacher to touch my heart in my secondary school days. She was there for me when I need her in my darkest moments. I really appreciate her. She's not just a teacher to me, but also like a mother who gives advices to me and offer words of encouragement. She's the one who brought me up to this level in the pursue of my interest. Justwantto thanks her! Love her!

I woke up super early to go for breakfast with my grandma, mummy, aunt and wati. I planned to make 'oneh oneh' (a kind of malay kueh) so I went to get my ingredients too. I was so tired. I stayed up quite late last night until 3 plus and I woke up at 9.

After my breakfast, I rest awhile before mkaing the oneh oneh. I kind of mess it up intially with the proportion of the ingredients. I add too much food colouring and water so it turn out quite mushy at first. Well, I had no choice but to cook another sweet potato to balance the proportion. It was quite hard to mash the sweet potato like a marshpotato and I had to use alot of force. My hands are like sore now and I had "green fingers". Haha.

While I was waiting for the water to boil, I realise that alot of oneh oneh "crack" already. I think I can't let the oneh oneh set for too long next time. Haha. So I faster put the fine ones to boil first to prevent more cracks. After everything was done, I set the oneh oneh with the grated coconut to rest before trying. Surprisely, it turn out quite nice. Even my sis said is delicious. I'm so happy because it was only my first try. Thanks God for the result! Haha.

Well. I currently had nth to do now but waiting for the time to pass for me to have my dinner. Hahah. Holidays are like "eat", "sleep", "eat" and "sleep" again ah. I planned to go jogging but seems like the weather doesn't allow. Now I have to wait till evening time. =(

Today i met up with my dearest lix, my 14 year old friend! Amazing isn't it? I really cherish such a precious friendship with her. We knew each other since 4 years old, and I still remember the first time i met her was in teh lift. Her mum happens to know my grandma, and she offered me sweets the first time I saw her. Hehe. In addition, we got into the same primary school and we were in the same class throughout the 6 years! Haha. Thats so cool. The greatest part of all, is we are still able to stay in contact with each other till now. :)

Anyway, we went for movie today and we watched "The wedding game". I think the show was alright and there are some parts which were very funny. Haha. Actually we intend to go katong to sing and eat lasak, but I have a sore throat and my voice sounds funny. So we changed to a movie outing instead. Oh yeah, lix's mum is so sweet. She knew I had a sore throat and she made herbal tea for me. Oh my gosh!! So happy!

After the movie, we went to 85 market at bedok for dinner. I miss the food there! I wanted to order chicken wing, and satay, and stingray! oh my gosh! But well, we two doesn't realy have a big appetite and can't manage to finish all. So we just order our "ma cho mee" and satay to share. I ordered the satay from the wrong stall, so it wasn't really very nice. But it was a great dinner with delicious and cheap food!

We went for a small walk to the Fairprice to get lix's energy bar and walk around trying to find a hair lotion for myself. But I couldn't find. So we went home after that.

I really hope can go out with her again next time when she's free. She so busy and is so hard to meet up. Hai, I kind of feel sad for her that she have so many assignments to do and so little holiday! But I believe you will do your best right lix? hehe. JIAYOU! Lin will support you! =)

Wow, finally my holidays are here. And here I am trying to figure out what to do for the holidays?

Well, let's talk about my exam on Saturday, 21st Feb 2009. I was sick on that day, but thanks God I still manage to focus on my paper. Anyway, before we went in for our paper, I saw Angelina and she asked us to pray together before going in. So we crowded together and we started to pray in tongues first. It was good. Hehe. Was intending to called Janey over but she was quite far away and time is running out. I need to rush in.

In the process of doing the paper, I was shocked. Because, all the stuffs that I focused on is in MCQs. But is ok, God still give me the wisdom for the correct answer, and He shall definitly bless me and my beloved sisters with great results for we are His beloved.

After the paper, we went for a movie with larry and yiwei joining us. We watched the show: He just not into you. But the show is not very nice, I nearly fall asleep. The funniest part is try did something to me and we kept laughing and laughing in the cinema. I don't know why she suddenly touch my toe but she thought it was the arm of the seat. I got the shock of my life that how come she touching my toe?! Hahaha. I kept looking at her until she realise what she doing, hence we enbd up laughing out. I think the people siting behind us got piss off by us. Other than try, I had Larry keep calling me said: " Ho hein", which is a medicated oil! He very random ah..

Anyway, after we had our lunch after the movie, we went for arrow!! Arrow is always the most exciiting part of my life where I can always find a peaceful rest in Him, my Lord Jesus. I had a great time there and the message was good. Pastor Benjamin continue to preach about the issues of the heart, and worshiping the Lord. Wow, how I wish Arrow will have Sermons on CDs too! Is always a touching moments and the Lord always teach us alot of stuffs and show us His great love for us! The praise and worship was so anointed that I just teared. I really feel that God is hugging me at that moment!
